Shakespeare Camp 2007

FOR 11-14 YEAR OLDS

Express yourself through performance! Explore stage combat, clowning, dance, and acting! Perform scenes from one of Shakespeare's plays for your guests on the evening of Friday, July 14, 2006.

Session dates:
July 2-13, 2007 Session One: Bowie Center for the Performing Arts
July 16-27, 2007 Session Two: Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center

Time:
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday [no camp on July 4]

Extended care:
7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Registration:
  • Register online! First, set up a SMARTlink account by visiting (in person) any staffed M-NCPPC facility in Prince George’s County.   See www.pgparks.com/smartlink for additional details about registering as a SMARTlink client and for the camp description.  Begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, for Prince George’s County residents and at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, for residents of all other jurisdictions.  If space remains in the camp, on-line registration closes at midnight on Sunday, June 10.
  • Register in person!  Visit any staffed M-NCPPC facility in Prince George’s County.  Begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 12, for Prince George’s County Residents and at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 19, for residents of all other jurisdictions.  If space remains available in the camp, walk-in registration closes one week before the camp start date.
  • Register by mail! Forms are available on line at www.pgparks.com/things/camp07/forms07.html
    Envelopes will be opened beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 12, for Prince George’s County residents and at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 19, for residents of all other jurisdictions.  If space remains in the camp, mail-in registration closes one week before the camp start date.
